Rachel McLelland, LMSW

As a Licensed Master’s Social Worker, Rachel brings warmth, empathy, humor, and relatability to her therapy approach. She is dedicated to helping clients uncover the strength, purpose, and personal meaning that already exist within their lives, while also exploring their values and aspirations. Rachel works with adolescents (12+) and adults to address a wide range of concerns, including general and social anxiety, panic attacks, OCD, stress, relational challenges, depression, and life transitions.

Rachel creates a compassionate and welcoming space where clients can show up as their authentic selves. This safe and trusting environment allows her to support clients in gaining insight and control over their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, all in ways that fit seamlessly into their lifestyles.

She earned her B.A. in Psychology with a specialty in Human Development and Family Science from Miami University (2016) and her Master’s in Social Work from Aurora University (2022). Rachel is passionate about guiding clients in self-discovery and equipping them with practical tools for growth. She practices using a person-centered, collaborative approach, incorporating elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients achieve their goals.

When she’s not working with clients, Rachel enjoys traveling, immersing herself in nature, spending quality time with loved ones, catching up on favorite or trending TV shows, and unwinding with a good mystery novel. She sees clients in the Roswell and Buckhead offices, as well as via telehealth, and is supervised by Catherine Moon, LCSW.
